Task 21

Evaluation of our Breakfast Club task:

For this task we had to choose from four title sequences and then recreate it to the best of our ability, we chose The breakfast Club. We chose certain sections of the opening sequence which were various different but short shots and then filmed our remake within the college using whatever was procurable in the hour that we had to shoot. For this task I mainly had the role of director/actor.

The props we used were:
- Cardboard(I'm eating my head)
- Chairs (car seats)
- A bag (What the father handed over in the car)

Our filming process overall was fairly efficient with only the hiccup of a small technical malfunction, we shot all the scenes we needed within our time limit. We attempted to copy each angle and shot to the best of our ability. Furthermore our editing after took slightly longer than plan because we tried to make every detail an exact replica of the original Breakfast club opening such as how long each shot last for and the fonts of the titles. The only thing we failed to replicate well was the color of some of the yellow titles and the noise levels in the scenes.

If we could shoot this whole remake again I would have made some adjustments in the filming process to where we filmed to maybe some more similar locations and used better more realistic props. Also I would have preferred to have had no background noise within the scenes because in the original there was none.In the editing process I would have just made the color of the titles more accurate to the original.

Overall the whole course of filming and editing this Breakfast Club went well and their were only minor hiccups in each part of the  process, the final product was a good attempt at replicating the title sequence using the tools we had.
