Analyse 2 film title sequences
Back to the Future-

The title sequence used in this opening scene is one of 4 different titles. However the title used in this films opening scene is one of many which uses animation or motion, this specific one uses motion as the background is still moving as the titles are changing in format as well as positioning around the screen. The editors of this movie have used a clever way to introduce the opening scene with this specific title named 'Back To The Future'. They have slanted the title so that is looks like it's zooming backwards, to the future. The conclusion I make about this title sequence is that it starts of with a traditional title sequence of the 'titles on blank screen' then slowly develops into the most advanced usage of titles which is 'Titles over motion'. This contrasts the past and the future, which resembles and foreshadows what the film is going to be about.

This opening scene of the film also uses the developed and latest version of title sequences which is 'Title using Motion'. This usage of title sequence helps the reader see the visual sense of the movie as well as seeing the title at the same time and it creates more of an effect as it enhances digital technology and stylized editing.
