As a group we chose to recreate the Title sequence – ‘The breakfast club’. This was because given the settings and items involved in the sequence in compared to the other options; the breakfast club was much easier to fulfil criteria wise. In addition the sequence would be enjoyable to remake.
Some of the things that went well during the creation:
· Most of the locations was easy to create
· The props worked to our advantage and looked quite real
· The filming process was carried out precisely due to careful preparation
Some of the things that didn’t go to well during the creation:
· It was hard to create the car scene just using chairs
· The acting in the car scene should have been rehearsed more
· The font in the titles weren’t all the right shade of yellow
· There wasn’t enough time for editing
If we had more time to fix these things I would make sure numerous things would be better. The first thing would be the realism of the car. To evoke a more realistic feel to the car we would use out Artistic skills more. The second thing would be to add more rehearsal to the car scene to convey a believable connection between the two characters. The third I would do is make sure that in post production that editing done is tighter and we have given enough time for us to complete it. This will insure the title sequence as a whole is successful and is evidently more similar to the original that we are trying to recreate.
