The type of title sequence used in the beginning of Fast and Furious 6 was a title on animation or motion type sequence,the animation in the background was snippets and clips from previous films in the franchise. The type of title sequence used was very effective because the modern generation the fast and furious general target audience need to be visually stimulated and this title sequence did just that showing all the action scenes and most memorable scenes from previous films. The typography used was quite basic as it was just simple white block type lettering with a black outline which slid on off the screen quite fast resembling a car, this obviously links to the film also setting the tone.Also the fact that lots of old footage as played and it was all action scenes implied to the audience that this film would attempt to top that, this would then therefore instantly arouse the audience because they'd then be intrigued to find out what the film has done to better it's predecessors.
